Cambridge YMCA Theater
820 Massachusetts Avenue, Central Square, Cambridge MA

The Cambridge YMCA Theater  is located in Central Square approximately three blocks from the Central Square (Red Line) T stop. The theatre is on the second floor of the Cambridge YMCA at 820 Massachusetts Avenue. From the T, proceed Northwest on Mass. Ave. (away from Boston, in the direction of Harvard Square.) Pass the post office on your left. The YMCA is two doors down on the left from the post office, roughly across the street from Cambridge City Hall. The theater is handicap-accessible.

To get into the theater
Go in the main doors to the YMCA. The theater doors are on the right; through the doors, you should be able to see only a wide stone staircase going up. If the doors are locked, go into the YMCA lobby, ask the desk attendant to let you in, and take the elevator behind the front desk to level 2R. Turn right immediately out of the elevator and then turn immediately to your left.

Parking
There are several parking lots on Green St., which is the closest street parallel to Mass Ave. behind the YMCA.  There are also several municipal lots in the area.

BE WARNED that parking lots located at the intersection of Prospect St. and Bishop Alllen St. are no longer open to the public on evenings and weekends.

Driving Directions
From Storrow / Memorial Drive: Follow Storrow or Memorial Drive to the River St. bridge (Cambridge /Central Square exit).  Follow River St. into Cambridge for approximately 3/4 of a mile until just before the major intersection with Mass. Ave.  From the left-turn lane, take a left onto Green Street.   The Cambridge YMCA is about two blocks down on the right with its entrance on Mass. Ave.

From The Mass. Pike (I-90): Follow I-90 to the Brighton / Cambridge exit.  Take this exit and follow the signs towards Cambridge.  Off the exit, proceed straight across the Charles River on River St. for about 1 mile until until just before the major intersection with Mass. Ave.  From the left-turn lane, take a left onto Green Street.   The Cambridge YMCA is about two blocks down on the right with its entrance on Mass. Ave.
